This post of Megalap Round 2 2017 coverage will cover street class. Megalap 2017 take place on 3.12.2017 before MSF Finale the next day. This is the class where your car have to be road legal and use 140 Threadwear or above street tyre to compete. This is the class where majority of enthusiast can relate themselves to. The class we cover today are CVT/Auto, Street NA-1600, Street NA-FF, Street NA-RWD, Street Turbo-2WD and Street Turbo-4WD. Megalap adopt classing from zerotohundred.com timetoattack with some local optimization for category such as CVT/Auto and Street NA-1600.
CVT/Auto
Winner of CVT/Auto class goes to Wilson Tee in his Honda Jazz GK5 with time of 2:53.155.
4th place of CVT/Auto class goes to Koh Kien Seng in his Mazda 3 with time of 3:16.391.

Street NA-1600
Winner of Street NA-1600 goes to Afiq Bin Mohamad in Toyota Starlet with time of 2:44.636. This is an active race car in MSF Racing Series currently.
2nd place goes to Ariffin Bin Amin with his Honda Civic EK hatchback. His time is 2:45.406. Surprisingly, 4A-GE is faster than VTEC this time round!

7th place goes to Joel Ooi Tze in his manual Proton Persona. This is certainly an unexpected entry! However, with its rear suspension being multi link, it is actually a very underrated choice.

This is very impressive considering that the power output is 225WHP on stock K20A with camshaft and bolt on. His tyre of choice is the very sticky Bridgestone RE71-R which have been dominating race class requiring tyre with threadwear of 200 or above since its release.
3rd place of Street NA-FF went to Liew Chia Jin in his Honda Civic EK hatchback. His timing is 2:43.209.
4th place of Street NA-FF went to Jimmy KS in a Toyota Vios 2ZZ. His timing is 2:47.123.
